When I think about parenting myself vs reparenting myself, parenting feels more active, more in the here and now and not so much linked to the hurts of then (although it’s there) as much as the needs of now.
Reparenting ourselves is important especially when we have been unloved or there has been trauma but parenting ourselves offers scope for mindfulness and intentionality more linked to our soul’s growth than our soul’s pain.
